We rented out Riad Mokhtar for our wedding in Tangier, and it was perfect. The rooms are all beautiful, comfortable and clean. Each room was special! The service from the team at Riad Mokhtar was superb- from the meal services, breakfast, to helping with taxis and luggage storage. The rooftop was the perfect place to host a cocktail party for our guests. Everyone was amazed by the hotel and the services - and it was perfect for older guests as there is an elevator, air conditioning .. all the comforts! Plus - the location is perfect, right next to the entrance to the Kasbah but in an easy spot for taxi pickups. Thank you for making our wedding extra special - we will certainly be back and recommend the hotel to all friends visiting Tanger. Merci!

I had an outstanding experience at Riad Mokhtar. This lovely boutique hotel is well located next to the entrance of the Kasbah. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is both attentive and kind. The courtyard features an excellent French restaurant -- perfect for when you're tired after a long day of touring and don't feel like going out. This riad is run by Julie and her husband, an energetic young couple who are very dialed-in on providing guests with a first-rate experience. I will happily return!

Riad Mokhtar was simply amazing. It was my first time staying at a riad in Morocco and it’s a beautiful riad. The rooms were clean, you can see sunrise from the terrace. Breakfast is amazing. Highly recommend to everyone who wants to visit Tanger!

It is a magical place to discover Tangier. I was with my family and friends during the month of September. It was a wonderful experience. Very good reception and the rooms are impeccable. Thank you Riad Mokhtar for everything

My wife and I booked Riad Mokhtar for our wedding weekend, and stayed with several friends visiting from the UK and France. We couldn't have enjoyed it more - the warmth of the owners, the beauty of the rooms and the delicious breakfast were all beyond excellent. We also organised a pre-wedding reception on the roof, in which the food and service were top quality (the pizzas here are amazing) and everything ran perfectly. We stayed in the senior suite, which is comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished. Riad Mokhtar as a whole is located perfectly on the periphery of the kasbah, but down a quiet street. For a mix of contemporary and traditional Tangier, at a fair price and with excellent hospitlaity, there really is no better option than Riad Mokhtar.

I loved our stay here! The beautiful interior was like my Moroccan dream come true! We had a beautiful room overlooking the interior courtyard and enjoyed beautiful breakfasts each morning. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. This Riad is located right on the edge of the Kasbah and you can walk anywhere! The rooftop restaurant and lounge is a wonderful place to go in the late evening to enjoy the cool night breeze and look over the city while you enjoy pizza and mojitos!

Riad Mokhtar is a lovely petit hotel which belongs to a dear French friend of ours, a real gem located a few meters away from the entrance of the kasbah. Thanks to the management of Julie and Guillaume the hotel has also two restaurants and this is unique for a petit hotel. One restaurant in the patio with international cuisine where each dish has some unique extra flavor and the decor is fabulous... surrounded by plants and the open sky. The second petit resto on the amazing terraces overlooking the old city, drinks and an easier menu with the best pizzas ever. We actually live in Tangier, we often go to Riad Mokhtar and send people and no one has ever complained. We are not pleased at all to read those negative comments because mistakes can happen but they should be shared with the management first. Obviously this didn't happen.

We stayed for 3 nights in this charming Riad. It was very peaceful and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I loved the room we stayed in although it was a little small. It had a lovely tiled bathroom., wool rugs on the floor and top quality bed linen. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies. Breakfast was a real treat too with fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bread, pastries and orange juice. We had drinks on the rooftop on our first night and watched the sunset and enjoyed the view with all the lights twinkling in the distance along the beach at sunset. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
